Member Recruiter Award
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Member Recruiter Award is to increase enrollment and involvement in the the BPA organization by encouraging current members to recruit new BPA members.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Applicants must recruit a minimum of five members
- Applicants must submit their member ID as well as the IDs of their recruited members
- Applicants must receive written confirmation from their local chapter advisor
ELIGIBILITY

- Be registered as a national member of BPA
- Be a member of the Middle Level, Post-Secondary, or Secondary Division
- Recruit a minimum of five new members
- List new members on application with their member identification numbers
- Receive electronic confirmation of the recruits from their local chapter advisor
In order for a recruited member to be counted towards the application total they must:
- Have had no previous membership in the Business Professionals of America
- Have been recruited between August 31, 2016 and February 15, 2017 (11:59 PM EST).
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
- Application must be submitted online by using the online submission tool here.
- All applications must be submitted by April 1st, 2018.
- Submissions should not be started until all activities have been completed and no partial or combined activities should be submitted.
- No submissions will be accepted through mail or email.
- Applications may not be submitted as a part of another application or with a technical project for a competitive event.
RECOGNITION
Approved applicants will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Each year the applicant with the most recruited new members and/or chapters in their division will be recognized with a plaque as National Recruiter of the Year at a General Session during the National Leadership Conference.
Individuals do not need to attend the National Leadership Conference in order to be recognized for the award.
